Lofty's One Handed Rubik's Cube Site

Turning

I one hand cube with my left hand and any algorithm on this page will reflect this. I hold the cube with my middle and ring finger and thumb leaving my pinky and index finger free to turn the faces of the cube. Eventually as I have this site up for longer I may put videos and pictures to aid the descriptions and add more content.

Index finger: With this finger I turn the U face both directions U and U'. U can be combined with an R' in one fluid finger trick. In some cases the aid of the middle finger is called upon to perform a double trigger U2.  With a slight half cube rotation the index finger can also be used to turn the L face both ways L and L'.

Pinky Finger: The pinky finger is used similar to the index finger only for the R and D faces. The pinky finger turns both of these faces both direction although it takes more practice than with the index finger to get the pinky to quickly be able to turn R'.
